About the Position:
Kootenay Career Development Society is seeking an experienced Climate Change Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our Youth Climate Corps program in the West Kootenay area. The successful candidate will lead a team of crew members, ensuring that they operate smoothly, safely, and meet program goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine plans for YCC projects in the West Kootenay, including external partnerships;
- Lead delivery of general and project-specific training for YCC crew members;
- Manage day-to-day communications, expectations, and support for YCC crew members;
- Coordinate on-site project operations and oversee project outcomes;

Requirements:
- Strong familiarity with the area, its communities, and local activities related to climate change;
- Ability to work independently and within a team, including working remotely;
- Experience, knowledge, and passion for group leadership, project management, relationship building, and climate change fields;
- Valid driver's license and means to travel to various work locations around the Regional District of Central Kootenay and potentially further across the Kootenay-Columbia region;
