**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Building Inspector and Team Leader. As a member of our high-performing team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our team of Building Inspectors to ensure compliance with the Building Act and foster positive development within our district.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in building inspections and a passion for leadership. They will also possess a thorough understanding of the New Zealand building consent regulatory framework, along with knowledge of the local government environment and relevant legislation.

Key Requirements:

  • A thorough understanding of the New Zealand building consent regulatory framework.
  • Knowledge of the local government environment and relevant legislation.
  • Competency under the National BCA Competency Assessment system.
  • A recognised Regulation 18 qualification.
