About the Role

We are seeking expressions of interest for individuals who wish to pursue a career in engineering and gain hands-on experience while working towards a qualification at Level 4 NZ Certificate in Light Fabrication.

  • Support the trade team by conducting welding and polishing procedures.
  • Learn from experienced team members and be guided under their instruction.
  • Complete on-job and online assessments in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Ensure workshops and the yard are clean, tidy, and hazard-free, with regular rubbish bin emptying.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and cranes to load and unload materials.
About You

We are looking for someone passionate about engineering, eager to learn new skills, demonstrating initiative, and dedicated and reliable.

You enjoy learning new skills, work independently or as part of a professional team, have strong communication skills, and understand safety requirements in a workshop environment.
