About the Team
The Infant, Child, Adolescent and Family Service (ICAFS) team provides specialist assessment and treatment for 0-18 year olds and their families/whanau. We offer a range of therapeutic approaches, including family therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Our team is known for providing excellent support to trainees, interns, and new graduates.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Providing intake services for the ICAFS team, including assessing and processing referrals
- Working closely with clinicians, including social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and psychotherapists
- Having excellent clinical knowledge in working with children, families, and understanding how to assess and treat complex needs
- Being able to make independent safe clinical decisions and manage risk in a fast-paced environment
