OT Clinical Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Team Leader.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and improving clinical services in the Older Person's health and Rehabilitation setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing to daily operational planning and supporting any service improvement initiatives.
- Holding a clinical caseload within our Older Person's Health team.
- Ensuring the day-to-day provision of a high-quality clinical service, primarily within our older people rehabilitation area.
About Our Team:
We are a dedicated team of healthcare professionals working together to deliver exceptional patient care.
About You:
- A sound clinical background in a rehabilitation hospital setting (a minimum of 5 years' experience post-qualification is desirable).
- An understanding of core business needs of Occupational Therapy service provision.
- Previous experience in leading a team and/or project management is desirable.
- Sound working knowledge of local, national and international health systems is strongly desired.
- Proven experience in training and supervision of staff with the ability to foster and support the development of a team both collectively and on an individual basis.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of NZ and current APC is essential (or eligibility to obtain).
