Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Business Development Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving business growth and enhancing value for our top customers in the B2B channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business and sales plans for key accounts with clear KPIs and targets to increase market share, revenue, margin, and brand growth.
  • Enhance business relationships by promoting strategic partnerships and working collaboratively with key account customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage all sales aspects of the key account customer portfolio, including contract negotiation and management, call cycle management, reporting, and budgets.
  • Analyse and report on sales data, competitor activity, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks early on.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in senior account management or sales, preferably with expertise in a designated channel (commercial, industrial, Bulk/SME account management).
  • Demonstrated track record of driving sustainable growth, with a 'hunger' for delivering revenue, margin, customers, and brand growth.
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to make informed decisions based on business data.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and contract management skills.
  • Good working understanding of marketing and brand principles.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business or commerce is desirable.
