About the PEERS Program
The PEERS program was created in response to community need and continues to work in partnership with families and young people to provide a service that supports young people transitioning into adulthood. Using a strengths-based approach, the PEERS program supports young people to build meaningful lives within their communities and support greater physical, mental and social wellbeing, all while having a whole lot of fun.

Job Summary
This role is based in Whangaparaoa and involves working Mondays 9.00am - 3.30pm, during school terms, with some opportunities for more hours. Training can start ASAP. You will work closely with one co-facilitator, each leading one of two activity sessions per day, and will have access to a senior staff member for support.

Key Responsibilities
- Co-delivering a term-by-term programme with our young people, that builds capacity and supports them in achieving their goals.
- Ensuring the programme is inclusive and accessible to all abilities.
- Building positive relationships with our members and their whanau.
- Organising equipment needed for activities, and two outings per term.
- Maintaining a safe and organised environment for our activities and outings.

You must demonstrate an understanding and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and be able to maintain an inclusive, non-discriminatory and multi-cultural environment. Key qualities include:
