We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Enabling Youth Worker to join our team in Central Auckland, South Auckland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues, family/whānau, professionals, and agencies to provide therapeutic support for young people with developmental delays, autism, brain injury, or Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and behaviours of concern.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualised support plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Build strong relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support.
- Provide individualised support to young people, focusing on their strengths, goals, and aspirations.
- A NZ full driver's license is essential for this role.
- Experience working with youths and informed about youth culture and issues is highly desirable.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and flexible when dealing with challenging situations.
