Residential Support Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Support Worker to join our team at Additional Resources Ltd.
This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary of £12.50 per hour plus £80 per sleep for a 40-hour work week.
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll be responsible for supporting young people in their emotional and social development, promoting socially acceptable behaviour, and maintaining control in situations.
You'll also contribute to regular assessments, keep accurate records, and support new staff members in their induction.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
- Developing and encouraging respectful relationships with young people.
- Providing guidance and counselling to assist in the social development of young people.
- Safeguarding young people by maintaining control in situations.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with colleagues.
- Contributing to regular assessments and keeping accurate records.
- Supporting new staff members in their induction.
Requirements Include:
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Keyworker, Childcare Worker, Care Worker or in a similar role.
- Ideal experience working with children and young people.
- Working towards a level 3 diploma in the Children & Young People's Workforce.
- A valid UK driving licence.
- An Enhanced Disclosure check.
