About the Position:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our care team as a full-time Caregiver, working in our residential setting at Summerset Holdings' Taupo village.

As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to our residents, including personal care, meal provision, and medication management.

You will work closely with our experienced care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional care services to residents, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and well-being.
  2. Maintain accurate records of resident care plans, progress notes, and any significant changes or concerns.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination and planning.
  4. Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in aged care.

Requirements:

  • Level 4 (Health and Wellbeing) qualification or equivalent experience in aged care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information discreetly, and respect resident autonomy and dignity.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, as required.
