This role is a key part of our organization's effort to grow the capacity and capability of the infant, child, adolescent, youth and whanau mental health and addictions workforces.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating online and in-person events nationally, providing admin and project financial support as well as internal and external support across digital systems and platforms.

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring all events are communicated effectively with all stakeholders including presenters, panelists and professional mental health workforce.\
  • Coordinating events and troubleshooting IT issues, facilitating breakout rooms and hosting webinars.\
  • Setting up and supporting all events including pre and post activities.\
  • Arranging travel requirements for external stakeholders.\
  • Recording and filming events and obtaining media consents.\
  • Editing and uploading filmed events to social mediums.\
  • Processing invoices for approval and payment.\
  • Internal and external customer support.\
  • Continuous improvement identification and coordination.\

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience and ability to plan, coordinate, scope, communicate and support events.\
  • Ability to problem solve issues around set up, on the day support and pre/post event coordination.\
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.\
  • Experience and ability to use Premier Pro, Vimeo, InDesign and Canva to edit videos preferred.\
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and develop professional relationships.\
  • Strong knowledge of office procedures and administration to undertake tasks related to assigned projects.\
