Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Orthopaedic team as an Orthopaedic Care Specialist. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality orthopaedic care and improving outcomes for elective and acute trauma patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • To manage the multidisciplinary care of orthopaedic patients and coordinate between specialist orthopaedics and support services to optimize quality and effectiveness of the orthopaedic patient journey
  • To provide clinical oversight within the orthopaedic specialty to support the clinically safe management of the patient elective surgery journey, to meet Ministry of Health compliance timeframes, and reduce post-operative length of stay times
  • To work collaboratively with the Operations Manager, Clinical Director, other Clinical Nurse Specialists, and our highly specialist arthroplasty surgical team to ensure the best care for patients using our services
