Senior/Principal Engineers - Structural and Geotechnical Position Overview
We are seeking highly experienced Senior or Principal Engineers to lead technical delivery, mentor, guide, and develop staff at our client's successful consulting firm.
About the Role
This is a career-advancing opportunity for experts in geotechnical and structural engineering, with a focus on leading technical projects, reviewing others' work, mentoring junior engineers, and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical investigations, assessments, and design, ensuring project success from inception to completion.
- Conduct seismic analysis, structural assessment, and design, with expertise in foundation design and construction monitoring.
- Manage projects efficiently, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure their growth and development.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A BEng Civil degree and ideally CPEng or working towards it.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with experience in reviewing others' work and mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage projects efficiently and deliver results.
- Working rights in New Zealand.
About Our Client
Our client is a respected locally owned consultancy in Northland, offering a competitive salary, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
What We Offer
As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
- A competitive salary range of $135,000 to $165,000 per annum (Senior) or $150,000 to $175,000 per annum (Principal), based on your level of experience.
