Healthcare Manager for Mental Health Services

Job Description: The Clinical Coordinator plays a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the unit and provides clinical oversight of a multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and leadership team to ensure high-quality, safe, client-focused care. This includes providing specialist nursing advice, support, and expertise, as well as improving the experience for consumers, their families, and whānau.
Key Responsibilities: As a Clinical Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include supporting the Clinical Nurse Manager and leadership team, providing specialist nursing advice, and improving the consumer experience. You will also be responsible for ensuring quality systems are in place within and across Wāhi Oranga nursing services to enhance care delivery.
About the Team/Location: The Clinical Coordinator role has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the unit and clinical oversight of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be supported by another two clinical coordinators, a Clinical Nurse Specialist, and a Charge Nurse Manager. You will be a key member of the Wāhi Oranga leadership team and will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the level of care provided to mental health consumers.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with a variety of health professionals. You will also need to be highly organized and motivated by work that is both busy and challenging.
