We invite experienced psychologists to join our team, bringing their expertise and passion for delivering specialist mental health interventions in the southern regions of Auckland.

Our district-wide services cater to various high-risk populations, offering opportunities for psychologists to develop their clinical skills and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

The following specialist services are available across our District-Wide Services:

  • Perinatal Mental Health Service: Comprehensive assessment, treatment, and support for women and fathers experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges during or related to the perinatal period.
  • Infant Mental Health: Support for families with children under 4 who face social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties, focusing on fostering healthy parent-child relationships and promoting positive attachment and bonding.
  • Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP): Assessing and treating service users aged 65 years and over, providing specialist assessments, and cohort-focused interventions and consultations within the community.
  • Regional Dual Disability Service (RDDS): Providing assessment, intervention, and consultation for adult clients with both psychiatric disorders and intellectual disabilities.
  • Faletoa Services (Pacific Clinical Cultural Liaison Services): Recruiting psychologists with an interest or expertise in Pasifika mental health for our culturally focused service supporting adult Pacific individuals with mental health challenges in South Auckland.

To be considered for these roles, you should possess:

  • Professional Qualifications: Registered or eligible for NZ Psychology Board registration under the general or clinical scope of practice.
  • Practical Experience: A minimum of 12 months' practical experience in clinical psychology or equivalent.
  • Clinical Skills: Full, clean driver's licence.
