About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability Assessment Engineer to join the Vulnerability Management team. This role involves onboarding new clients, providing technical escalations, and delivering business-as-usual support. The position is a six-month fixed-term contract with strong potential for transitioning into a permanent role.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new clients, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Escalate complex security issues to technical specialists, providing timely resolutions.
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and assess threat exposure, ensuring continuous security.
  • Communicate security best practices to customers, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in security engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools, such as Tenable, Qualys, or CrowdStrike.
  • Scripting proficiency (Python or PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to engage customers on security best practices.
