About the Role
This is an opportunity for a registered nurse or social worker to apply their skills, knowledge and understanding to a varied caseload; coordinating care and providing therapeutic interventions, solutions and advocacy.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Organise, prioritise and manage a caseload including the documentation associated with this.
- Demonstrated skills in comprehensive mental health assessment and risk management, interventions, including formulation.
- Clear communication with multidisciplinary teams, wider team and community partners.
- Practice with a whanau centred approach and be a strong advocate for best practice.
- Foster a culture of openness and quality improvement, with tāngata whaiora and whānau at the centre.
- Encourage and lead innovation and continuous improvement as part of the way we work.
The Rural North Sector provides a range of secondary care mental health services across the Coromandel Peninsula and Hauraki region. Our base is at the Manaaki Centre in Thames with outreach clinics located in several other towns.
