The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our Rolling Mills Roll Shop team based in Glenbrook. The successful applicant will be responsible for refurbishing and maintaining the roll supplies to the Rolling Mills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refurbish and maintain the roll supplies to the Rolling Mills
  • Perform maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and meets safety requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Superintendent and other team members to achieve production goals

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade certificate or equivalent experience
  • Strong team focus and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer literacy and analytical skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of work
  • Proven good attendance and work history
