About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating machinery/equipment to produce orders within customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform line audits to ensure good product consistency and maintain acceptable quality levels.
- Correct significant deficiencies exposed by line audits, including troubleshooting issues affecting mechanical performance and/or quality levels.
- Maintain good mechanical running condition on the line; make repairs (may have assistance from the Maintenance Department for complex repairs); perform lubrication.
- Ensure tooling alignment, obtain proper color match against standard with customer requirements, and follow line clearance procedures.
- Record daily production and scrap figures for the shift and report to Supervisor.
- Use manual and computerized systems for recording information.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A mechanical background is preferred. This position is a 12-hour night shift with a unique schedule.
