Technical Director for Electronics

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-tech electro-mechanical products, working closely with other departments and disciplines within the engineering team. The role involves a mix of office and remote work, with three days spent on-site and two days working from home. You will have the opportunity to play a lead role in modernising and improving the engineering function, and contribute to delivering the company's largest-ever orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits
- Integrate electronic subsystems into larger systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues
- Develop electronic designs using circuit simulation and physical prototypes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need experience as a lead electronics design engineer or senior electronics design engineer, with a history of successful product development. You should have experience with electronic design packages for PCB design and schematic capture, and some experience with Altium is required. A track record of taking the lead on EMC and CE Marking approval for new products is also essential.
