Job Summary
The Global Executive Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Sales Director for Managed Transportation to drive profitable transactional and managed transportation business growth. The successful candidate will identify sales opportunities, build long-lasting customer relationships, and expand overall business through business development with new customers.

About the Role
This challenging position involves developing and executing all sales and marketing strategies to capture our unique value proposition and create business solutions for prospective new customers. The Sales Director will engage with customers post-sale via account reviews and quarterly meetings to prove ROI, create new value, and work with Pricing Analysts and the Operations team.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue growth targets
* Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in managed transportation
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales and retention
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives
* Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
* Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality sales performance metrics and client development results

Required Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in outside sales/business development within freight brokerage and managed transportation
* Strong knowledge of contractual business processes (RFP, RFI, RFQ) and regional/national accounts experience
* Proven selling and closing capabilities with strong negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Advanced financial knowledge and computer skills with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
