About the Position

The Health and Safety Training Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of inductions and training that meet or exceed both regulatory and internal Occupational Health, Safety & Training compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver inductions and training to meet regulatory and internal Occupational Health, Safety & Training compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure course requirements and availability are clearly communicated.
  • Maintain a high degree of computer literacy, including training software packages.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' mining experience in an operational role, with demonstrated Health, Safety and Training experience within the mining environment.
  • Highly effective report writing, presentation preparation, and verbal communication skills.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of current health and safety legislation, AS/NZ Standards, and relevant Codes of Practice.
