**Job Overview:**
At Graymont Limited, we are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting operational sites, functions, disciplines, and project managers in achieving compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support a mature safety culture across APAC South by providing guidance to site managers and site HSE personnel on implementing required programs, monitoring implementation, and ensuring compliance with Graymont HSE Standards and all relevant HSE regulatory requirements.
- Lead environmental permitting projects in collaboration with Graymont regional and functional leaders by liaising with regulatory authorities, coordinating external resources, and supporting engagement with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice and support by monitoring HSE and sustainability performance and key metrics, identifying internal and external trends, recommending improvements, and informing decision-making and strategy development.
**Requirements:
- F formal tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, environmental science/engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years' proven health, safety, and environmental experience gained in the resource, manufacturing, or heavy industry sector, or equivalent transferrable experience and skills from another industry.
- Current driver's licence.
