Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering inductions and training packages to ensure all personnel are trained, competent, and authorized within their defined roles. This will involve:
- Delivering underground training and assessment packages;
- Developing new training packages and updating existing ones as required;
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure course requirements and availability are clearly communicated;
- Assisting with the coordination of external training requirements as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Workplace training and assessment qualifications;
- Qualifications in Health and Safety Management (desirable);
- A full and current driver's license, ability to drive manual vehicles;
- A minimum of five years' mining experience in an operational role/s;
- Demonstrated Health, Safety, and Training experience within the mining environment;
- Underground mining equipment operator experience;
- A high degree of computer literacy, inclusive of training software packages;
- A sound knowledge and understanding of current health and safety legislation, AS/NZ Standards, and relevant Codes of Practice.
