About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team as an Implementation Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our Health & Safety (H&S) management system across the Waitemata site.

You will work closely with operational teams, frontline workers, and leaders to drive risk reduction initiatives, ensure compliance with New Zealand regulations and company standards, and facilitate key safety committees.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement the H&S management system on site, providing coaching and role modeling to brewery/logistics managers.
  • Conduct incident investigations and maintain the event reporting system (Cority).
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness and understanding among all employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve H&S goals and objectives.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in health and safety with a formal qualification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
