This senior role seeks an experienced professional to join our Safety & Wellbeing Lead Team as Senior Health and Safety Professional. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of our operational safety and wellbeing strategy.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading risk assessments and developing practical safety controls.
- Collaborating with operational leaders to embed sustainable safety and wellbeing change.
- Providing subject matter expertise to business unit leaders.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Liaising with Worksafe and other regulators.
The Ideal Candidate
A recognised tertiary level qualification in health and safety is essential, as well as expertise in safety investigations (ICAM) and risk analysis (HAZOP, Bowtie).
A strong track record in S&W and people leadership, with a proven ability to collaborate with operational leaders and lead change in complex environments.
