**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and construction law, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and decision-makers.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Partnering with senior leaders and decision-makers to provide commercially astute and solutions-focused legal advice
  • Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts
  • Negotiating contracts with key stakeholders
  • Contributing to sound decisions that balance risk and opportunity

**Requirements:**

  • A qualified lawyer with an NZ practising certificate (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 10 years PQE in commercial and/or construction law
  • Experience working in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
