MBIE is seeking a skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team in Auckland. As an Investigator, you will play a critical role in promoting compliance and investigating non-compliance with New Zealand tenancy laws.

You will work closely with the wider team to design and recommend courses of action that ensure landlords understand their roles and obligations. Your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people from all walks of life will be essential in this role.

We are looking for someone with experience in regulatory and compliance environments, sound compliance skills, and knowledge of government and constitutional environments. If you have a passion for ensuring quality and consistency in investigations and practices, we want to hear from you.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have good communication and stakeholder partnership building skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with iwi, hapu, non-profit, and government sector agencies.
