Position Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trauma-Informed Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will be responsible for promoting and implementing trauma-informed approaches and practices across services that support infants, children, youth, and their whānau.

The successful candidate will have experience in project management, clinical services, and working with diverse communities. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills, cultural competence, and the ability to travel nationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and implement trauma-informed approaches and practices across services that support infants, children, youth, and their whānau.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure workforce development activities are evidence-based and meet the needs of the infant, child, youth, and whānau mental health sector.
  • Support workforce development with a focus on maternal mental health.
