Job Summary
Spectrum Care is a leading provider of community support services, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our Intensive Respite Service team.
As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing crisis support to young people and their families, working collaboratively with colleagues, family members, professionals, and external agencies to deliver high-quality care.
We are looking for someone who is resilient, dedicated, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. If you have a strong understanding of youth culture and issues, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide crisis support to young people and their families
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, family members, professionals, and external agencies
- Deliver high-quality care that meets the needs of each individual
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users and stakeholders
Requirements
- A full New Zealand driver's licence
- Availability to work 8-hour shifts on a 24/7 roster
- Reliability, resilience, and passion for working with people
- An interest in attaining a Community Support Worker Level Three or above qualification
