**The Role**

This part-time Payroll Officer role is a key position within our organisation, responsible for delivering the end-to-end payroll process and ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll legislation, regulations, and best practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage payroll software and systems to meet organisational needs
  • Evaluate and process payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Provide advice to staff and managers on payroll-related matters
  • Ensure prompt processing and payment of salaries to all employees on a fortnightly basis

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in payroll or a similar role
  • Understanding of payroll legislation, regulations, and best practices
  • Experience with interpreting individual and collective agreements
  • Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications
