Job Overview

At Waitemata District Health Board, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Thames Hospital.

About Us

We are a modern 50-bed secondary care facility offering a comprehensive range of services, including emergency department, inpatient care, day surgery, an infusion unit, rehabilitation services, birthing unit and low-acuity mental health care. Our hospital boasts 24-hour laboratory and radiology services, including advanced CT imaging.

About the Role

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in Emergency care although we are willing to train the right person. This is a part-time position and the successful candidate must be available to work all rostered shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand; inclusive of scope of practice
  • A current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Expected to meet a competent level of practice on the Professional Development and Recognition Programme, but may achieve a higher level of practice
