About the Job

This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Thames Hospital or Waihi Community base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, excellent clinical reasoning skills, and experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to clients within their home environment and occasionally on the inpatient ward. This will involve managing your own caseload, prioritizing tasks, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 12 months post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Rehabilitation experience and sound clinical reasoning skills
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary setting
