About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Gastrointestinal Surgeon to join our team at Christchurch Hospital — one of the largest surgical units in Aotearoa.
As a key member of our Department of General Surgery, you will participate in our acute service on a rotational and on-call basis and deliver expert care within a highly collaborative team for Elective Colorectal Surgery, Colonoscopy, and Outpatient Clinic.
Our team consists of 26 Senior Medical Officers (SMOs), 22 Resident Medical Officers (RMOs), and 12 House Officers, supported by a dedicated nursing and administrative team.
Key Responsibilities:
