Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Pou Pukenga) to work within our facility, primarily providing practical mental health recovery support. This role involves facilitating measurable and successful outcomes for whanau, requiring outstanding communication skills and a supportive, respectful manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A current New Zealand Registered Nursing qualification
  • Previous mental health experience or two years' general ward experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, assuming accountability and responsibility for actions
  • Insight into Te Ao Maaori and Kaupapa Maaori approaches to hauora and wellbeing
  • Closed mentoring and supervision from experienced clinicians and managers
