Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at our residential care facility on Ilam Road. This role requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can provide leadership and support to our clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing diverse clinical care to our residents at Ilam Road
  • Supporting clinical decision-making and planning around our clients' wellbeing
  • Providing key nursing expertise and support for a small group of clients
  • Mentoring and supporting our Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years nursing experience
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Ability to work rostered day and night shifts across 7 days
  • Confidence working in a sole charge role and leading the night shift (if required)
  • Competence in the use of information technology
  • A current NZ practising certificate
  • Be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
