About the Team/Service/Location
The radiology team is a vibrant group of professionals dedicated to supporting their community and each other. They provide comprehensive imaging services, including general X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, DEXA, and Interventional Radiology.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualified Medical Radiation Technologist
- Registered with NZMRTB
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Sound oral and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of cross-sectional imaging
- A high level of time management and personal work organisation skills
- CT knowledge would be an advantage
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
