Job Summary

We are seeking an Imaging Physician to join our team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional medical imaging services. This role involves interpreting medical images, consulting with clinicians, and ensuring timely reporting. If you have experience in diagnostic imaging and are passionate about delivering excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret medical images and provide accurate reports;
• Consult with clinicians to ensure comprehensive patient care;
• Triage and protocol imaging requests efficiently;
• Support the radiology technology staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• A general scope of radiologist skills, including ultrasound, MRI, and CT;
• Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) Vocational registration in the Scope of Practice of Diagnostic and interventional radiology or be an overseas trained Radiologist eligible for MCNZ registration under the Special Scope of Practice Locum Tenens category;
• An empathetic approach, valuing patient-centered care;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
