About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Technologist/Mammographer to join our team at BreastScreen Auckland Central. This role involves conducting mammography examinations for women participating in the breast screening programme, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

About Us
BreastScreen Auckland Central is part of the New Zealand Government's free national breast screening programme. Our team prides itself on delivering high quality services that engage with women to detect breast cancer early, when it can be more effectively treated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting mammography examinations for women participating in the breast screening programme;
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality service delivery;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports;
  • Pursuing a PG cert in Mammography if not already qualified.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent;
  • Registration with the New Zealand MRT Board;
  • A current Annual Practising Certificate;
  • A PC Cert in mammography or recognised Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Mammography (desirable).
