Anatomical Pathologist Position Available

Head Medical is committed to providing high-quality public healthcare services across North and West Auckland. As part of our mission, we are seeking an experienced Anatomical Pathologist to join our Surgical Pathology Unit.

Our department provides comprehensive histology and cytology services to multiple hospitals, including BreastScreen Northland and BreastScreen Auckland Central. With IANZ accreditation and modern facilities, we process over 52,000 specimens annually from a range of specialties. The ideal candidate will have experience in cytopathology and a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with our 12 specialist Anatomical Pathologists, who provide expert diagnostic services to patients across the region. Our department participates in the Auckland training scheme and offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA). Please apply online with your updated CV for further consideration.
