Technologist Position for Mass Spectrometry Research

As a highly motivated and experienced technologist, you will play a key role in supporting research and analytical services at The University of Auckland.

The successful candidate will work closely with researchers from various disciplines to apply advanced mass spectrometry techniques and deliver successful analytical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with researchers to plan and design experiments
  • Develop sample preparation and data acquisition methods
  • Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation, including mass spectrometers
  • Generate robust experimental data in a timely manner
  • Provide training and advice to students and other facility users
  • Contribute to manuscripts for academic publication

This is a 10-month fixed term role, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week). Salary range: $72,000 - $84,709 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications.
