**Job Overview**
This role involves providing advice and support to teachers and kaiako on the development of high-quality teaching and learning programs. You will be part of a regional team working closely with schools, kura, and early learning services to:
• Provide support on the development of teaching and learning programs, including assessment practices, to implement government curriculum priorities.
• Identify and deliver high-quality curriculum to meet the diverse educational needs of all students, with a specific focus on equitable achievement of student learning outcomes.
• Support early learning services, kura, and schools to work alongside whanau, hapu, and iwi to reflect the aspirations of their tamariki in teaching and learning programs.
**Essential Requirements**
- Proven experience in building and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships to achieve shared outcomes.
- Strong, proven curriculum design expertise and a deep working knowledge and practical experience in literacy and communication or maths teaching (early learning, primary, or secondary), or te reo matatini or pangarau teaching (kaupapa Maori or Maori medium).
