About Us

Rosehill School is a specialist school in South Auckland, serving students aged 5-21 with diverse needs, including Autism. Our team comprises Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Language Therapists, and a Psychologist.

The role of an Occupational Therapist involves working closely with the class team, whānau, and other therapists to ensure students can participate fully in the curriculum and school life. This requires a strong interest in paediatrics and experience working with children with special needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing sensory integration techniques and strategies for fine motor skills development
  • Coaching classroom staff on supporting students with Autism
  • Maintaining clinical records and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings
