Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be working with individuals who have intellectual disabilities, providing support and assistance to enable them to live fulfilling lives in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support and care to people with intellectual disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encouraging independence and promoting community participation
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Confident communication skills in Korean and English
  • Knowledge and respect for Korean culture
  • A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviors
  • Comfortable using computers and tablets daily
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts
  • Full NZ driver's license
