**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to children, young people, and their families.

**About the Role:**

This permanent 1.0FTE position is based in Palmerston North with some regional coverage as required. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and allied health staff, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for mental health issues affecting children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to support the emotional and psychological well-being of young people
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate qualification in nursing or a related field
  • Strong clinical skills and experience working with children, young people, and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
