Perioperative Care Specialist

NurturePL is seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Care Specialist to join their team in New Zealand. As a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality perioperative care to patients
- Understanding surgeon preferences and ensuring pre-operative preparation
- Assisting in creating sterile surgical fields and maintaining sterility
- Working closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care
Requirements:
- A Registered Nurse currently registered with SNB and eligible for registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council
- At least 3 years recent theatre nursing experience
- Sound understanding of surgical instruments, equipment, and surgical protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Patient-focused, adaptable, and committed to high safety standards
