Job Role

The Data Analytics Manager is responsible for managing the processes of data collection, presentation, and analysis to drive strategic initiatives. This role works closely with Senior Directors, CFOs, and other organizational leaders to ensure data-driven decisions are aligned with the firm's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics in support of business decisions.
  • Analyze data using data modeling, dashboards, and analysis techniques to discover insights guiding strategic decisions.
  • Transform and clean data from various sources to ensure accuracy for analysis.
  • Examine and interpret results of analytical insight, reporting them to Senior Directors, CFOs, and other leaders.
  • Oversee data and report requests, ensuring efficient tracking, prioritization of tasks, and proper approval processes.
  • Anticipate future business demands and implement solutions to meet these needs.

Leadership and Staff Development

  • Participate in interviewing, candidate selection, assimilation, and training of new staff members as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective remote work arrangements, maintaining regular communication and agreed-upon metrics.
  • Guide and coach staff members through real-time feedback, promoting their growth and development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations thoughtfully, fairly, and in a timely manner, ensuring development plans are in place.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Concentration in finance, math, statistics, computer science, information management, or related analytical fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including expertise in data modeling, DAX calculations, and data visualization techniques.
  • Minimum three years' experience in visual design, data storytelling, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite of Tools and ability to adapt quickly to new software and systems.
