Spectrum Care is a leading provider of community support services, and we are committed to delivering high-quality care that meets the needs of each individual.
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Community Support Worker to join our Intensive Respite Service team, where you will be responsible for providing crisis support to young people and their families.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with youths and a strong understanding of youth culture and issues. You will also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to delivering person-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Provide crisis support to young people and their families
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, family members, professionals, and external agencies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users and stakeholders
Requirements
- A full New Zealand driver's licence
- Availability to work 8-hour shifts on a 24/7 roster
- Reliability, resilience, and passion for working with people
- An interest in attaining a Community Support Worker Level Three or above qualification
