About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contractor Liaison and Permit Issuer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance organisation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the site's safety and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Permit Issuance: Issue permits for contractor work, ensuring compliance with company policies and Worksafe NZ standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, and observations.
  • Hazard Identification: Identify and mitigate hazards within the department.
  • Audit and Reporting: Perform regular audits and reports on permits and records.

Requirements

  • GMP Experience: Advantageous experience in GMP/GLP or ISO 9000 production environments.
  • Safety Knowledge: Working knowledge of New Zealand safety standards, requirements, and legislation.
  • Contractor Management: Experience working with contractors and/or contracting environments (industrial preferred).
  • Communication Skills: Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with report and investigation writing abilities.
