Role Overview

Aurecon seeks an experienced Renewable Energy Specialist to join our high-performing national Energy & Industrial team. As our new team member, you will play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable infrastructure, helping to design and deliver major projects with a focus on carbon neutrality and long-term resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to define project scope, prepare deliverables, and provide regular progress updates.

  • Deliver cost-effective designs that align with industry, company, and client standards.

  • Generate design criteria, reports, design verifications, and clearance tables using PLS-CADD.

  • Build and refine pole and tower models for PLS-CADD designs.

  • Develop construction assembly drawings, select materials, and create structure loading packages for vendor submissions.

  • Participate in internal and external meetings to support project processes and decision-making.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Be proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Tower.

  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering standards that apply to transmission design such as ASNZS7000.

  • Able to perform transmission line engineering work independently.
